A new Map, a new Beginning

Hello fellow Minecrafters!

We decided to make a new map (again). This was mainly because of the old map beeing from an older World Generator and therefore our abilities to roll back landscapes and repair things was limited. Also there were biomes that suddenly went to snow instead of whatever they were before. Also the old map was a little bit ugly :P

However, this new map has a handpicked seed and provides features for every kind of game style. 

We also want to put more efford in it again by building up new "public spaces" such as event areas, arenas, several places you can visit and eventually find useful stuff in and a couple of town areas, all in different terrain, where you can build your house.

As little extra, for the first time ever, you can now go and download the old map here.

It's in a linux zip format but you can open it with a program like WinRar or, even better, 7Zip.

Now, to the new map.

We already started something at the spawn, so we have, once again, a nice spawn to welcome our new guests.
