Its a first-person adventure, with a heavy focus on story, atmosphere and puzzles, like our previous mod, Flesh.

There´s some combat, and the gameplay is more straightforward.

This is no sequel or such, but a original piece, its own beast. Our themes come out of spiritual qualities, imagination, dreams, symbolism, and our goal is a vibrant, atmosphere-ridden adventure.

This mod is being developed on Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and so it requires Ep2 to run.

Hello folks!

Today the Scintilla Mod has come back to PlayBlack Studios!

This amazing Horror themed modification for Half-Life 2 Ep2 is in the making since early 2010 by the Team that developed the Flesh Mod which has been a wide success.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This means that you can be guaranteed that Scintilla is going to scare the living hell out of you once it is released.

Utilising elements of combat and combining them with the survival style we know from Flesh, Scintilla will focus on spiritual qualities,

imagination, dreams, symbolism, and their goal is a vibrant, atmosphere-ridden adventure.

 

Scintilla is due later in 2012 and definitive must-have for every horror fan!
